Julia Beveridge
Scientist, Small Molecule Therapeutics
Dr Julia Beveridge is a medicinal chemist with experience in small molecule and PROTAC drug development.
She earned her PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, conducting part of her thesis at GSK, Spain, in collaboration with the Tres Cantos Open Lab Foundation. Her research aimed to advance medicines for endemic infectious diseases. Following her doctoral studies, Julia pursued two years of postdoctoral research at Uppsala University in Sweden, focusing on developing drugs for neurodegenerative diseases.
Prior to joining BioCurate, Julia worked at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute, where she contributed to an industry collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim, focusing on the development of PROTACs as oncology therapeutics.
Julia’s expertise spans medicinal chemistry, drug discovery, and development, driven by her passion for collaborative research environments.
